a little more highlands

I couldn't possibly fit all of the Highlands yumminess into one post :)  So here is part two.  It's worth it, I promise!  Most of these were taken on the Saturday after Thanksgiving ~ lots of sales (but in this part of the country, even sale prices are often too steep for me!)

There are SO many pictures ~ a feast for your eyes :)

We saw this fabulous old stone work on our 'easter egg hunt' on Saturday morning.  Its a tradition for us & the kids to hunt for golf balls on the back 9 of the course my inlaws live on.  The kids call it 'easter egg hunting' and you never know what you're going to find… I have a healthy fear of snakes and also black bears, and I just know one of these days we're going to come upon one or the other!

how fun is this halloween tree?  we saw it in, of all places, the christmas store :)

this table stopped me in my tracks.  fabulous!

I love this piece but what really caught my eye was the pillow in the center.  Recognize that fabric?  Its my dining room curtains!

I'm not usually a fan of silver lamps but these mercury glass beauties with the natural fiber shades really caught my eye

Dee ~ this one is for you.  My mother-in-law (Dee) hooks & thought this pillow was so cute

Gorgeous ornaments, but they're breakable so not for us this year (more on that later, but think kittens + christmas trees)

this piece might be one of the biggest pieces of furniture I've ever seen…. Easily 12 feet wide and probably 10 feet tall.

I must have gone back to look at this pair of lamps 4 times.  love them

Phew, that was a lot of pictures!  I'm so glad I took them though, as looking through them I already saw several that I had forgotten.  They are such great inspiration.
