my repurposed life

If you don't already visit her on a regular basis, you've got to take a minute and go visit Gail over at My Repurposed Life.

My Repurposed Life

She is a genius at taking something like an old door, shutters, or just plain old wood scraps and turning them into something fabulous.  Genius, I tell you.

Her latest post shows how she took some old bi-folding doors and turned them into a children's or doll's bench.  Adorable.

She has a link party on Fridays called 'Catch As Catch Can'.  Click on the button below to get there.

Catch As Catch Can

Gail was the inspiration for our headboard benches that you can see here and here.  We actually took our laptop to the basement shop & followed along on her tutorial to build them.

  1. awwww, so sweet Kathie! thanks a bunch for the shout out. Did you see that Kim called me the "wood whisperer"? I like that!
in a rush, I'll be back later.

  2. Love the "wood whisperer"... so true!

  3. Hello and thanks for stopping by for a peak at my ceiling tiles! I love your headboard benches! I have 2 different old beds in my stash and the wheels are turning... I hope you will visit again and I can't wait to see what else you come up with! Happy Painting!
